The red wine Recioto della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Tommaso Bussola has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella , Molinara from the region Veneto in Italy.
Deep, dark ruby in colour. On the nose, aromas of dried fig and sultana, slightly reminiscent of rum pot and dried plum, with ash in the background. The palate is compact and taut, with tight tannins still noticeable from the use of oak, offering great sweetness and fruit. Will become increasingly expressive with time, and should continue to evolve in the bottle!
