The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Torcilacqua has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Chianti in Italy.
Rich, deep dark ruby. Very intense and appealing nose, lots of dark berry fruit, of blackberry, plum, some molasses. Juicy, equipped with grippy tannin, shows good drive, a little drying on the finish.
