Tasting from 29.10.2021: Othmar Kien, Simon Staffler

Rich, slightly cloudy garnet red. A finely drawn nose opens with pronounced notes of ripe cherry, rose hips and dried fig, with a second whiff of liquorice and a hint of truffle. Initially builds up powerfully, interwoven with grippy tannins, tightly woven, yet juicy and with a certain finesse, ending powerfully on rosemary and sour cherry.
