The red wine Chiuse Vidalba Etna Rosso DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Torre Mora has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright, elegant ruby red. The nose has notes of barrel-spice, mineral, light tar, then a rich aftertaste of ripe cherries and blackberries, pepper and leather. The palate has a certain juiciness and firm tannins, spreads beautifully over the tongue, dark spice accompanies the drink, with persistence.
