Tasting from 09.07.2020: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Bright rich purple colour. Slightly oaky and smoky on the nose, with graphite and matchstick, then ripe plum and amarena cherry, and a cinnamon stick finish. Delicate texture and elegant fruit on the palate, with grippy prominent tannins, subtle dryness, and with nice drive, it should definitely be aerated in a decanter.
