The red wine Gattinara DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Travaglini Giancarlo has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Clear, brightening ruby. Finely marked nose, lots of fresh cherry fruit, some cinnamon and coriander seeds. Firm and sturdy on the palate, gripping, dense tannin, still a little drying on the finish.
