The red wine Il Sogno, vintage 2018 from the winery Travaglini Giancarlo has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Medium, bright garnet red. Intense on the nose, with aromas of cherry, blackberry and plum confit, black tea and balsamic nuances as well as roasted and savoury aromas. On the palate it shows soft, structured and fresh, with a pronounced savoury note, accompanied by ripe tannins and a long finish.
