The red wine Santa Caterina Vino Nobile di Motepulciano DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Tenuta Trerose has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, radiant ruby red. Delicately fragrant and expressive on the nose, of ripe raspberries and ripe wild strawberries, also cherries, a hint of geranium, with a noble savoury aftertaste. Very juicy and clear on the palate, with a salty undertone on the tongue, gentle drive, extremely rich in finesse, balanced finish.
