Intense ruby red with a brightening rim. Initially restrained on the nose, opens discreetly to sour cherry and plum, with balsamic notes on the finish. Full-bodied on the palate with finely woven tannins and clear fruit, also shows a fine mellowness, lacks a little sprint in the finish.
