The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Uccelliera has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Ruby red with a radiant core. Fruity nose, reminiscent of ripe blackberry, cherry and peppermint, with a balsamic aftertaste. Good depth on the palate, appealing fruitiness, slowed down somewhat by grippy tannins in the middle section, with sweet barrel spice and a brittle finish at the back.
