The red wine Senderos de Ukan, vintage 2019 from the winery Ukan Winery has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region Rioja Alavesa in Spain.
Intense, dark berry aromas, vanilla notes, oak. Expansive on the palate, powerful, sandy tannins, a rather restrained acidity with a soft base. On the finish, the fruity aromatics reflect a modern Rioja, that with a few years more in the bottle should reveal its full potential.
