Bright, rich ruby colour with flint garnet. Opens with pronounced savoury notes of bay leaf, thyme and tobacco, with plenty of plums in the background. Very powerful on the palate, opens with dense, firm tannins, emphasised earthy notes on the finish, salty, beautiful texture, still needs additional ageing, great ageing potential.
