Brilliant dark ruby red. Expressive nose, clearly of elderberries, cassis, mint, delicate cold smoke, balsamic aftertaste, inviting. Opens creamily on the palate with tightly woven tannins, shows plenty of power and concentration, the wood tannins are currently still noticeable, but will come together well, gripping, long finish.
