The red wine Brunello di Montalcino, vintage 2012 from the winery Vasco Sassetti has been rated in 2017 by Kiem, Othmar with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright garnet red with a dark core. Very fragrant, intense nose, full of preserved plums and cherries. Juicy cherry fruit on the palate, opens up with fine-meshed tannins, spans a wide arc, beautiful fruit on the finish.
