The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2020 from the winery Vasco Sassetti has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant ruby red colour with a purple hue. Fragrant nose, cherry fruit in combination with floral notes, violets and meadow flowers. Blood oranges and marzipan on the palate, more savouriness, grippy tannins, animating acidity, and a lingering finish.
