The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Vecchie Terre di Montefili has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
It has a rich dark ruby colour, with a narrow garnet rim. There is an appealing and intense bouquet, with an aroma of rich dark olive paste, lots of cherry, and some raspberry. The palate is juicy and smooth, with a lovely cherry flavour, although it still displays quite rough tannins.
