The red wine Bruno di Rocca Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Vecchie Terre di Montefili has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese
It has a rich deep dark ruby colour, with a purple shimmer. It opens with aroma notes of cedar wood and pencil shavings, then dark berry fruit, as well as some dark chocolate. On the palate there is an emphatic freshness, nice crisp fruit, lots of juicy dark currant, and grippy tannins, which all builds well towards the finish.
