Tasting from 16.10.2024: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Brilliant ruby with garnet reflections. Warm nose of rich, hearty plum with notes of black pepper, leather and forest floor. Lots of drive on the palate, gripping tannins and ripe fruit through to the lingering finish.

More about the tasting

Bright, light ruby red with slightly brightening rim. A bit restrained on the nose at first, then rich notes of pickled plums and cassis emerge, with leathery-earthy nuances in the background. On the palate there's some powerful tannin structure, lots of ripe fruit, with a long and fruity-spicy finish.
