The white wine Chardonnay Friuli Isonzo DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Vie di Romans has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Clear, rich straw yellow. Beguiling nose, initially presents with flint notes, then lots of ripe fruit, pineapple, baby banana and dried strawberries. Substantial and complex on the palate, profound, very long finish with fine nougat notes, still shows very young.
