The white wine Piere Friuli Isonzo DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Vie di Romans has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Bright, pale straw yellow in colour. Initially very fresh on the nose of cut grass and crunchy gooseberry, then fine herbal flavours of basil, oregano and tropical fruit. On the palate, a beautiful alternation of fresh acidity and ripe fruit, exciting, long and multi-layered.
