The white wine Piere Friuli Isonzo DOC, vintage 2023 from the winery Vie di Romans has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Bright, pale straw yellow colour. Initially very fresh on the nose, nuances of cut grass and crisp gooseberries, then fine herbal flavours of basil and oregano, and tropical fruits. Beautiful alternation of fresh acidity and ripe fruits on the palate, exciting, long and multilayered.
