Rich, deep dark ruby with fine purple sheen. Ripe fruity notes of prune and cherry confit, underpinned by subtle chocolate tones. Evolves beautifully on the palate, lots of ripe berry fruit and cassis, unfolds with dense tannins, finishes with a rich drive, but it is also juicy.
