The red wine Fara Riserva Vigna di Sopra DOC, vintage 2012 from the winery Vigneti Valle Roncati has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nebbiolo, Vespolina from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Elegant, bright ruby red with brightening edge. The nose has touches of wild strawberry, delicate pepper spice, raspberry cordial, followed by undergrowth and cedar in background. On the palate the wine is very elegant and supple, shows fine texture, builds up in many layers, harmonious and balanced with a saline finish.
