A dark and almost inky colour. Blueberry and lilac blossom on the nose, it is a very classy bouquet. It is fruity and lush on the palate, with pronounced fruit, and it has warmth which suggests the direction of Australia. It is full-bodied and astringent, and the acidity acts well as a counterbalance. There is plenty of ageing potential for years to come.
