The red wine Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Villa Buonasera has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot
Bright ruby red with a delicately brightening rim. On the nose there are elegant oak tones, plus fine cherry fruit, slightly earthy echo. On the palate it shows with earthy tannin, in addition well integrated acid nerve, fine resinous tone, in the echo then unfortunately drying aftermath.
