It has a powerful shimmering ruby colour. There are very intense and appealing aromas, full of dark cherry, blackberry, and sweet tobacco, with earthy notes in the background. On the palate it is polished and finely meshed, with ripe dark fruit, dense tannins, and a firm drive.
