The semi-sparkling carbonated wine Lambrusco Secco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC from the winery Villa di Corlo has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lambrusco from the region Emilia-Romagna in Italy.
Deep dark purple. Opening on the nose with rich wild berry and ripe cherry, a whole basket full of dark berry, very fruity and open-hearted. Displaying on the palate precision with rich fruit, a superbly integrated mousse, delicate tannins gives additional structure, it is a phenomenal Lambrusco for not much money.
