The red wine Carmenere Asolo Montello DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Villa di Maser has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Carmenère from the region Veneto in Italy.
This has a deep dark ruby red colour. There is an exciting and inviting spicy nose, with aromas of ripe cherry, and ripe wild fruit, plus elegant green components, it is an inviting bouquet. On the palate it has beautiful fruit, and a compact medium body, and it stretches out nicely. It is very gluggable.
