The sweet and dessert wine Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Villa Girardi has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Molinara from the region Veneto in Italy.
Rich, dense ruby. Smells concentrated on the nose of dark cherries, cassis and some mint. On the palate lush sweetness, plus grippy tannin, but lacks the connection between the two, seems quite disjointed.
