The sweet and dessert wine Eleusi Falanghina Roccamonfina Passito IGT, vintage 2009 from the winery Villa Matilde Avallone has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Falanchina from the region Campania in Italy.
Brilliant, light amber with a golden shimmer. Aromas of quince confit, dates and fig, with some dried orange peel in the background. Round and well-balanced in attack and finish, showing fine notes of dried fruit, peach, apricot and apple, with a subtle almond note.
