The red wine Sideral, vintage 2014 from the winery Viña San Pedro Tarapaca has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser und Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah from the region Central Valley in Chile.
Freshly fruity cassis, blackcurrant leaves, very tidy and proportioned on the palate, juicy and mineral, carried by clear fruit, the tannin is softly embedded and yet provides structure and grip, the ripe, not overripe Cabernet fruit lingers for a long time. Pleasantly low key, yet with Chilean, sensual fruit.
