Dark ruby in colour with purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, an inviting bouquet, smoky-spicy underlying fine oak notes, with black berries, cassis and liquorice, and fresh orange zest. The complex palate is juicy with ripe blackberry and dark cherry fruit, supporting, ripe tannins, and a saline-mineral finish. Still very young, this is a fresh, invigorating, and powerful food wine with the potential for ageing.
