The red wine El Puntido Rioja DOCa, vintage 2010 from the winery Viñedos de Páganos has been rated in 2014 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region La Rioja in Spain.
From altitudes of up to 600 metres. Dark berry, toasty oakiness, caramel, rose. Very full-bodied, rounded grainy tannins, broad and expansive, but then held together by the very intense tactile minerality. The acidity only emerges on the finish and is then well integrated. A dense wine with the impression of pure lime, and with a long finish.
