Berry scent, currant leaves, softly grounded on the palate, with a well-chosen dose of ripe tannin to it, but the fruit remains predominant, juiciness and nerve give freshness, a rock-solid red for everyday, to accompany sausage dishes, stews, or slightly chilled on a warm summer evening. Good length.
