The white wine Viognier Pays d'Herault Cessenon IGP, vintage 2018 from the winery Viranel has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Viognier from the region Languedoc-Roussillon in France.
On the fragrance no perfumed Viognier character, rather citrus, lemon lemon balm, peppermint. Gripping palate structure with ripe acidity, a layer of ripe phenolics, salty notes and a still compact, mineral-toned finish. A well structured white, dense and full of potential, now already very good gastronomic use.
