The red wine Merlot Venezia Giulia IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Vistorta has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points.
Intense ruby with a slightly brighter edge. Very appealing nose with ripe notes of forest fruits, especially blackberry and raspberry, plus some dark chocolate and smoke. On the palate juicy, dark berry fruit, grippy tannin, blueberry and cranberry, salty and long finish. .
