The red wine Terra di Confine Umbria Rosso IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Tenuta Vitalonga has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points.
It has a brilliant ruby colour, with a fine purple sheen. There is an intense nose, with appealing aromas of dark elderberry fruit, some cassis, and followed by nice balsamic components. On the palate it is full-bodied and dense, with rich dark fruit, with plenty of grippy tannins, and a liquorice note on the finish.
