The red wine La Luna e i Falò Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Vite Colte has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Dark, bright ruby red with purple. On the nose it shows with a clear use of wood, light malt, milk chocolate, then violet and wild berries. Smooth on the palate with a rich mellowness, comes in many layers, unfortunately a little tiring on the finish due to the use of wood.
