The white wine »Leftovers from Outer Space«, vintage 2023 from the winery Weinbau Flimmer has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Souvignier Gris
A balsamic spontaneous fermentation nose dominates the aroma, accompanied by ripe late harvest fruit of apricot, but also some rhubarb. The palate structure is characterised by taut, fresh phenolics, bringing together an almost powerful body and a taut, firm acidity structure, the finish is aromatic and long, combining spicy and fruity motifs.
