Deep ruby, purple reflections, broad bright rim. Underlaid with a touch of nougat, fine dark cherry fruit, delicate blackberry confit, a touch of herbal savouriness, and orange zest. Juicy, elegant, subtle caramel, some nougat, ripe tannins, and with sweet berry fruit and peppery spiciness on the finish. It has good ageing potential and is already gluggable.
