Tasting from 21.03.2025: Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach

On the nose, intense aromas of dark fruit: elderberry, and cassis, with cool herbs and smoky oak notes in the background. The palate is elegant with the right balance of creaminess and fresh acidity, again dark berry notes and oak spice, with medium-fine tannins and an appropriate length.

This has aromas of red and black berry on the nose, some plum, along with distinctive spicy notes, and tarry animal notes. It is medium-bodied on the palate, and beautifully mellow, again with fine spicy notes, and a subtly smoky character. There are fine tannins, and also a red berry flavour on the finish.
