The sweet and dessert wine Mosaik Trockenbeerenauslese, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Alexander Egermann has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Scheurebe, Welschriesling from the region Burgenland in Austria.
Medium yellow gold, brass shimmers. Intense scents of ripe tropical fruit followed by a hint of mango and passion fruit, underlaid with fresh apricot jam and tinged with a slight touch of honey. Juicy, sweet and elegant marked by well-integrated acidity accentuated by perfectly ripe peach nuances, silky and very accessible. Good ageing potential, excellent value for money.
