The red wine Cuvee Alpha, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Alphart has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Thermenregion in Austria.
Dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle ochre hints at the rim. Tobacco and savoury notes beneath forest fruit, a hint of plum, some nougat. Powerful, juicy, chocolatey texture, lively, integrated tannins, mineral finish, will benefit from bottle ageing.
