Dark carmine garnet with purple reflections and a lightly ochre rim. Tobacco, herbal spice, black cherry fruit and some blackberry on the nose, with a hint of precious wood and nougat underneath. The palate brings a medium body, with a core of red berries and fresh cherries and some firm, still somewhat demanding tannins. Will benefit from bottle ageing.
