The red wine Weil am Rhein Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut am Schlipf – Schneider has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
Cool on the initial nose with aromas of dark cherry, blueberry, tomato leaf, elderflower and clove. On the palate, the very good acidity balances the elegant fruit, ripe tannins and nice wood spice. Lots of grip and tension, attractive finish.
