The red wine Frankie Burgunder, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut am Schlipf – Schneider has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Fränkischer Burgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Complex aroma: nougat, cherry, sloe, "wild" overtones from the spontaneous fermentation, and mineral undertones. On the palate the wine has a firm, not too soft, but nevertheless flawlessly ripe tannin, the structure has density, but also appears very well balanced in its proportions, the acidity is right, the fruit juicy, the finish is full-bodied and long with a mineral colour.
