The white wine Oestricher Lenchen, vintage 2006 from the winery Weingut August Eser has been rated in 2007 with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Medium yellow-green. Intense tropical fruit on the nose of pineapple and passion fruit, fresh meadow herbs, vineyard peach. Powerful on the palate, delicate dried fruit notes, delicate hints of orange, somewhat dry on the finish, some banana, medium length. The palate does not yet live up to the promise of the bouquet.
