The red wine Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weinzuhause has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 88+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
An initially slightly reductive but spicy, very typically "German" Pinot Noir nose, almond, bay leaf, juniper and even a hint of menthol. Soft, supple attack, then a subtle tannic note, vital acidity, elegant palate flow with medium density - an excellent food companion at a bargain price.
