The red wine »Schlusslicht!« Herxheim am Berg, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Bohnenstiel has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Characterised by Cabernet aromas, cassis, paprika, blackberry, savoury notes from the wood maturation, dark chocolate. Shows good substance, volume and tension on the palate, the integrated alcohol is also well dosed, the distinctive tannins are powerful, well balanced, remains long on the palate.
