The white wine »S« Leistadt Kirchenstück Riesling Spätlese trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Brenneis-Koch has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
First ripe aromas with a hint of honey, but also apple peel and some bergamot. On the palate, the wine is elegant, juicy and with ripe, yet firm acidity and a pinch of phenolics, a subtly savoury, pointedly fresh finish.
